We just got back from our trip back home for spring break and it was such a blast. It is amazing how homesick you still get at 32 years old. There is no place like Chicago, even in the drizzling rain it is such an amazing place to me. We rented an apartment in Lincoln Park and took the kids to The Shed Aquarium and The Field Museum. I really want them to have an idea of where we grew up. We got to hang out with my family and some old and new friends. It really was such a great time.

I can't wait to get back to my hometown. Definitely know the feeling. I've only been to Chicago once, for an afternoon/evening. It was a blast. So want to go back!
